    Faculty

    Green River Co-op Preschool offers qualified, caring instructors to guide your child's development. All teachers continually work to fulfill the Biennial Requirements for Training as outlined by the Department of Family Services of Wyoming.  Some of these include: Infant and Child CPR and First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Sanitation,Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect.

    Additional training for the teachers includes: Child Growth and Development, Guidance and Discipline, Program Management, Professionalism, Family Relationships, The Active Learning Environment, Uniqueness, Cultural Awareness, and Health, Nutrition, and Safety.

    Debbie Varley:

    Debbie has been teaching at the Green River Co-op Preschool for over twenty-five years.  She has been the Director for the last sixteen years.  As Director, she is present everyday and CO-teaches each class.  She also interacts with the Board of Directors, supervises the staff of two teachers, helps manage registration, submits all required regulatory reports and oversees the day to day business activities of the school.

    Shawna Mandros:

    This is Shawna's second year teaching at the Green River Co-op Preschool.  She has her Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Western Wyoming Community College. Shawna teaches daily in the afternoon classes.

    Ann Morris:

    Ann started teaching at the Co-op Preschool in November 2008. She enjoys working with children and is excited about her new position. Ann teaches daily in the morning classes
